Welcome to GoIStats, a mobile app of the National Statistics Office(NSO) under the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation designed, developed and deployed to provide the latest government data on the go to the user. By accessing or using GoIStats, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms”).
You agree to use GoIStats in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations and to refrain from using the platform for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian Law. Any dispute arising under these terms and conditions shall be subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Though all efforts have been made to ensure the accuracy and currency of the content on this mobile application, the same should not be construed as a statement of law or used for any legal purposes. Users are advised to verify/check any updated information available with the concerned source(s), and to obtain any appropriate professional advice before acting on the information provided on this portal.
In no event will the Government of India or NSO will be liable for any expense, loss or damage including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any expense, loss or damage whatsoever arising from use, or loss of use, of data, arising out of or in connection with the use of this Portal.

NSO reserves all rights, at any time without ascribing any reason(s) or notification whatsoever to deny or restrict access to this application to any particular person, or to block access from a particular internet address to this application, or to withdraw this application.
NSO may update this application from time to time, and may change the Contents at any time. However, please note that any of the Contents on this application may not be up to date at any given time, and NSO is under no obligation to update it.
We ask you for your name and contact information, in case you intend to provide feedback on the app. This information enables us to provide personalized services and communicate separately with you. We also use aggregated information about the use of our services to evaluate our user's preferences, improve our programming and content delivery. We do not share or sell personally identifiable data with other service providers, who can use such information for commercial promotion.
To enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights, and comply with legal obligations, we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request; as required by law, such as to comply with the legal process, as applicable in India.

Users are advised not to share any unwanted confidential information on the app. If shared, the Ministry and its staff, individually and collectively, shall not be liable for any financial or other consequences whatsoever arising due to the inappropriate, improper, or fraudulent use of such content.
Information available on GoIStats app, may be reproduced after giving due credit. However, the information has to be reproduced accurately and not to be used in a derogatory manner or in a misleading context. Wherever the information is being published or issued to others, the source must be prominently acknowledged. However, the permission to reproduce this information shall not extend to any information which is identified as being copyright of a third party. Authorisation to reproduce such information must be obtained from the departments/copyright holders concerned. Further the reproduction of the content by a user should not be in a manner to imply directly/indirectly association of NSO India in any manner whatsoever. In case of a content is removed then the same may also be removed from the platforms where it has been published by the user.
